Barbara is a low bootie that speaks to the heritage of Dansko styling and is a great casual boot. With a convenient inside zipper, this style features our patent pending stapled construction, linings with Aegis Microbe Shield for odor control, Nubuck uppers treated with 3M Scotchgard protector for stain resistance, and a lightweight patent pending EVA outsole for long-lasting wear.
The fit? Well, this is a Dansko Clog-esque bootie, so it is roomy! I wear my regular EURO size, and have wiggle room. I tried the size smaller for reference, and I could not wear it as the arch placement is not right and my toes were close to the end. With my normal size there is room in the toes, and movement in the heel, which is just how they fit. You will not get a secure fit in the heel cup with this style because you just aren't supposed too. If you have a high instep, they might work for you. If you have a shallow instep, they will not work for you. The width is typical Dansko, generous, but not a truly wide width. I can't see them working well on narrow feet.
